PROJECT ECONOW
Founded in 2021, Project EcoNow is centered on raising awareness about recycling among the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) students and the public. In this year, we will be growing our initial initiatives known as EcoScent and EcoSoap, and many more to come!

ECOSCENT & ECOSOAP
A transformative business where used cooking oil is collected from households and eateries, which are then recycled to be creatively transformed into scented candles and multipurpose soaps, which are made to emphasize the objectives of Econow.
ECOSCENT
EcoScent candles redefine sustainability by repurposing used cooking oil into exquisite recycled candles. Each EcoScent creation embodies environmental responsibility, transforming discarded oil into a clean-burning, fragrant delight, where every flicker tells a story of repurposed elegance and conscious living.
ECOSOAP
In the academic year 22/23, EcoSoap was launched, converting recycled cooking oil into eco-friendly soap. After 7 months of development, production occurred weekly, utilizing NottsPride for efficiency. Soft launching garnered feedback, leading to sales starting March 1, 2023, selling a total of 206 soaps.
