Yeong Sze Ern
Senior Associate in Talent, Strategy and Operations Team in Teach for Malaysia
Sze Ern started off as a Teaching Fellow under Teach for Malaysia, where she taught students from a high-need, rural secondary school in Miri, Sarawak. She was once a Farm Educator at FOLO Farms, raising awareness on sustainability, farming and the environment for a better Earth. Currently, she manages administrative and recruitment tasks as a Senior Associate under the Talent, Strategy and Operations Team in Teach for Malaysia. She is a passionate lifelong learner who believes in education and is committed in inspiring others to realize their potential and purpose in life.

Nurfarini Daing is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of MyHarapan also known as Youth Trust Foundation is dedicated towards empowering young Malaysians by supporting youth projects and initiatives that contribute to current nation-building efforts. This is achieved through providing various platforms and opportunities that help youth scale, sustain, expand and multiply their impact.

Dr Yeung is an Ambassador for United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME) on Sustainability Mindset for the Asia Region, Secretary General of World Institute of Sustainable Development Planners, Associate Vice-President of UNESCO Hong Kong Association and Associate Professor and Head of Gratia Business School, Gratia Christian College, Hong Kong. Dr Yeung carries with her many years of experience working on sustainable development projects in Hong Kong and globally. For all her contributions to the community, she was awarded the Asian Leadership Award on Innovation, ACKM 2018, Global Young Leadership Award, Asia Week 2017 and a Nominee for Pioneer UN SDGs, UN Global Compact 2018.
Dr Chuen Khee Pek
Associate Professor of Green Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences in University of Nottingham Malaysia
Chuen Khee PEK committed to UN SDGs #4 Quality Education, #9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and #13 Climate Action, is an Associate Professor of Green Economics. Pek is a Certified Sustainable Development Planner with WISDP, UNESCO HK, Professional Green Economist of the Green Economics Institute UK, Senior Fellow of WISDP, HK, Fellow of the UK Advance Higher Education and a member of Malaysia Economic Association and Design Thinking Association of Malaysia. He is also a Certified Trainer with HRDF and Global Business Services with UKM.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Economics) Honours from the University of London in 1997, Master of Economics and Ph.D in Economics from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2000 and 2009 respectively, and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) from the University of Nottingham in 2016.
Currently, Pek is giving lectures on business economics, corporate strategy, case studies and design thinking. Pek is actively involved in student and community engagement for NUBS, UNMC promoting and teaching the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education (UNPRME) and Design Thinking through activities and projects with Enactus UNMC as the Faculty Advisor and the Principal of Student Competition Mentoring Group (MENTORS+) and Academic founder of Business Case Learning Foundation Programme (BCLFP) which he has initiated for NUBS in 2014.
Pek has visiting academic positions at Petra Christian University, Indonesia, Gratia Christian College, HK and Tunghai University, Taiwan. He is also an external examiner for Heriot-Watt University Malaysia and academic board member of Gratia Business School, HK.
His main research interest is in green economics with the application of environmental valuation. Pek has successfully published his work in the Journal of Environmental Management, Waste Management and Waste Management & Research.
In the past, Pek had worked for the International Department of the Central Bank of Malaysia, and managed the training & development department of an oil & gas holding company in Kuala Lumpur. He had also managed the accounting and finance section of a company offering human capital to offshore oil companies.
Dr Roy Khong Wye Leong

Dr Khong is an Associate Professor of Financial Economics and Deputy Director of Undergraduate Programme (Accreditation and Internships) of Nottingham University Business School Malaysia. Dr Khong involves actively in social concerns such like street feeding to the homeless, among others. We hope to work closely with Dr Khong to bring Enactus UNMC to greater heights.
